Stock Market is the bottom in?

SMCI is back on the menu for me after the company that was shorting them(hindenberg) made a smear campaign to drop the share price so they could benefit on their short position announced they are going out of business. SMCI needs to release the 10k by FEB.25th and then they should be good to go. I'm back on board now. jmo

I don't watch news or listen to the radio. What little bit of news I get is from other people or social media which is scarry i know. My understanding was that all of the insurance companies dropped the fire insurance when California cut the budget for the fire departments and residents affected arent getting squat. Correct me If Im wrong please.
I have a hunch none of those people are gonna be able to go back home ever again. Sounds like they'll die of old age before they get all their permits in order to rebuild.

The local gossiping at the post office was that several of Idaho sent fire trucks were refused and sent back home due to failure of the required emissions test?

Unbelievable

Thus the need for REAL fact checkers. Zuck, the schmuck, isn't doing anyone any favors on that platform by doing away with fact checkers. If everyone's telling lies these days - who do we believe ..... if anyone??? Seems like truthful foundations are not today's focus. Truly tragic.

I heard that rumor about Oregon as well, but it just doesn't make any sense. California doesn't have the authority to turn vehicles away, nor do they have checkpoints at their border state boundaries. Anyone can drive their vehicle across state lines in the US. And the idea that a firefighting crew would turn away a firetruck at the scene of a raging wildfire because of vehicle emissions documents just doesn't make any sense at all.

There absolutely is a checkpoint getting into California, at least on I-10 the last time I drove there, which was about 12 years ago. To my recollection, all they were looking for at the time was imported produce.

Speaking of the fires, I bought a decent amount (for me) of Edison international who owns southern Californian electric. I bought some call options too. They supply power for the fire area. There was an early running theory it was their lines that caused the fires but I believe that is getting debunked. Their stock plummeted early this week but has been rebounding ever since. I just don’t believe an electric utility in California in a disaster area won’t come right back to their mean

FACT CHECKERS. Fiction. Just more one sided brain washing and censorship misleading people once again. jmo

Fair enough, my bad.

Farmers on agtalk have spoken about having their trucks confiscated in CA until they paid the huge fines for running non approved emissions.

Are community notes on X proven wrong over time as much as fact checkers on Facebook have been? There must be a reason Facebook is charging to more of a community notes type system.

I bought a little at $33. Because I’m a dumbass and couldn’t pull the trigger at $22. Or $17.

My wife is in this industry. She said they do some stuff that no one else can do even though they seem to have some chaos in their company.

Let's Roll!

My aunt and uncle live in California and they are very conservative. It’s difficult to live there without any real representation, extremely high taxes, high cost of living crazy rules & regulations. My cousin has never been able to buy a home, he 50 + and has had to rent his whole life.

They can’t move due to a child care issue. Not for me…

And yet they consistently have some of the top markets for new construction homes and their real estate market is one of the most expensive in the world implying demand is insane. I have no idea what to make of the truth. Everything I hear from my side says it’s a whacked out hellhole and people are fleeing like crazy, yet the real estate numbers tell me a different story

Roughly half of Americans support socialism.
