Why not take the foarmer off the sprayer and put on the drill with a new piece of tubing? Thinking you also have a gas can foamer. You can use a reducer and go with smaller id tubing and install a T so it will foam on each side of the drill. My sprayer is set up like that and it's like driving down the highway! :D
I run into similar problems when no-tilling with the JD Van Brunt, expecially in areas with sod covering. Fortunately the coulters disturb things enough where I can normally see the last pass, not always though. Planting comes out even if the end coulter rides in the tire track from the previous pass. The cultipacker is pulled by another person and runs about two passes behind me so I can see where I've planted.
