Throw and grow?

I'd throw pretty much all of that.. The first year on my land when I just got one spraying of long standing hayfield and did a throw and roll, i had quite a bit of pea growth actually and that was over an impressive sod mat. So i'd say probably worse conditions on the ground but with rolling.. If you get a solid rain you might have a good number of peas sprout.
I passed on spreading the peas but spread everything else, we have not had the rain. I'm skeptical on what may grow in this application with minimal moisture. Been a lot of turkeys in there the past week cleaning up seed, I'm afraid.

It will get 50#/acre rye in another 10 days or so.

Got it done. Probably too much thatch to be honest. They were at least belly button high most places. They will dry down a lot, but I’m not sure…

Took a gander yesterday with dad. I forgot to take a pic, but there is oats and brassicas growing all over the spot I mowed. That thatch dried down a ton and is really about the perfect amount. I got lucky.
