not going to like my 2 cents, but best advice is sell it
if your determined to use an atv to pulls a disc
buy a better designed double row disc with slotted disc's disc, of the largest disc' you can find,, and having adjustable cut angles on it!
the problem really with atv disc is, , for a disc to actually work it needs down force, , then to get enough down force you need wright
if they made the ATV size that would work great, the atv would be killed in short order trying to pull it
just look at how much HP is recommended for a tractor or that is both heavier and geared lower with a rear end that is capable of handling the stress of pulling a disc
ATV"s honestly are not MADE for doing slow going hard pulling for long periods of time!
even large CC larger HP motored ATv,s are NOT made to run slow working hard, many don;t like to hear this, but its a fact
there cooling systems are not made for it!
short periods of time, OK< but its still very hard on an atv
a OLD school OLD tractor costing 1500-2500 bucks will out work an atv ten foklds and not be working things near as much, and why, once anyone that goes from an ATV to a tractor, realizes they should have done so sooner!
if NOT willing to sell what you have
best thing you can do is maybe fit it with larger disc, add weight, and make sure any site your trying to turn over is burned down with no living vegetation on it
GO super slow, and let gravity work, doing plots with an atv is NOT a fast game to play, its slow and steady and over lapping pass after pass! in small steps, lots of seat time to do little work!
