PA Sunday Hunting Ban is over

Finally! Us weekend warriors will have two days a week instead of one.

Interested to see if they'll fully implement it for this fall or wait until next.

I think they will be implementing it this fall as it goes into effect on September 7. Pretty excited about this one..my brother has been keeping an eye on this for a long time (even joining some anti-Sunday hunting Facebook groups to troll them) and said the first comment on the group said something like “gonna be alot of divorces over this one.” Haha

I hope so. That would be amazing if it's this fall. I saw talk of "expanding" it this fall but not sure what that meant. My dad was an anti sunday hunting guy. I asked him why he wouldn't want that and he said he wanted a break. . I said then stay home, you don't have to go. Interested to see if it's public and private or just private.

Pretty happy about this! I sometimes get out in the afternoon after work to hunt on the weekdays, but it's few and far between. Can't tell you how many Saturdays in archery it's been a downpour only to have Sunday being beautiful with a nice buck walking up my driveway in the morning. I just hope they don't slow roll it and open a few at a time to "study the impact".
