Ohio Farm Tours

Mowed my rye/clover yesterday and going back out to finish it now. Had to be really careful looking for bedded fawns and I definitely see how just fall planting oats is something I’d like to try.

This doe has been nursing hard but she is still hitting the Nitroboost every night.

This was the Drill and Driveaway field we did this year and I am just continually impressed with the amount of old and new crop that continues to flourish. This field (as you can see from background browse line) gets hammered by deer. Yet the biomass continues to produce!! Not the prettiest but sure is an effective way to feed deer in the summer!

Garden is rocking now.
Weekly foliar feeding and inter seeded cover crops!

New blog!

Unique way I manage my garden -

I’ve Been treating this field 2x with the NEW Revive RX and BioCharge - it’s absolutely taken off!!

Despite heavy deer browse it’s loaded with good deer and soil food.

By Mid August this will be crazy biomass - that I will drill right through and lay over to feed the Carbon Load!!

Pretty darn green for not an ounce of synthetic fertilizer!

5 days post Vitalize Revive RX and BioCharge have been applied - scroll to see growth.

No rain since applying - just time. I can’t wait to see this field once we catch some more rain.

New Blog in our series of blogs. We are continuing to promote transparency and clarity around our products, and the science we implement to ensure balance and efficiency when applying!

Really happy with this blog that explains the ins and out of our newest products.

The “drill and drive away” method continues to interest me. It’s not as effective as the crimper, and certainly not as effective as herbicide - but that only pertains to success through the lense of aesthetics. As I walked this field what I noticed was a bunch of sorghum, Sudan, beans, peas, lab lab, etc.

Also plenty of grains and clover from the Carbon Load.

Lastly - the field does now have some weed pressure, but the main weed is ragweed - I’ll take it! It’s also not stunting good crops, as mentioned above.

Because of this drill and driveway - we certainly gave up some biomass from the Nitroboost. However, we never gave up any cover or roots growing for 24+ months and to me that’s very cool!

This fawn sure doesn’t seem to mind a few ragweed between the beans and clovers!
