Mineral block?

I started a mineral site this spring with trophy rock but those are expensive (12 lbs for $13) - I bought these to re-stock the same mineral sites (50 lbs for $6). Any reason why this wont work.

Very regional. Try the cheap and when you find what they like your home. #1 ingredient is salt and they like salt.

I put out 2 of them the other day. Mostly salt but trophy rock is too. I've had pics of them biting the edge off the blocks.

Good thing I ain't in WI!

Besides this is a mineral block for livestock - not wild animals! Just in case I have any feral cows roaming my woods!!!:p

Not as many free-ranging bovines in IN as there used to be, but one can't rule it out I suppose!;)

I just bought 3@ 50lb bags of redmond #10 trace mineral for $10 each.I believe these are the same as trophy rocks just ground up.
