Is this the gradepro

I had one do that this fall. Every two weeks it would reset the day and time to sometime in June. It appears to have worked fine otherwise, but the day and time was useless. This is a camera I have had out for a few years now and it just randomly started doing this. It might be an issue with the internal battery because the last time I changed out the card the batteries were totally dead (which I typically try to avoid).

They've gotten pretty proud of their cheap cams. The $40 models lately seem to run 60-70. I'll be considering other options possibly.

I haven't bought any, but are the GardePro E5s cams still good ..... proving themselves as great cams??

I call them a 2 year cam. They were great at 40. At 60 I'd say decent. One of my biggest issues still often seems to be getting cracked fresnel lenses. I have decent luck trimming tiny slivers of black electrical tape (Scotch Super 33+ for an electrical nerd like you) and covering the cracks.

I have bought and deployed somewhere around 15 of the gardepros and I would definitely recommend them. The only major issue that I have noticed is that the microphone stops working on older models (I believe they are from 2019 or 2020 and are the A series from Gardepro or Zopu?). One camera resets the day and time every few weeks but still functions perfectly (I need to try a factory reset next time I go to this camera).

The model I have the most of is the E5S. I have several that I have bought that are still in boxes that are on deck if any breakdown, but that hasn't happened yet.

I've had 2 of the lenses get chewed up by rodents. Dont recall that happening with other cams.. That and the date issue where they keep resetting. I only have 1 out right now, not sure if I have 3 or 4 of them but im down to 1 or 0 that dont have some sort of issue.. Great pics but they dont seem particularly reliable. Compared to some of my brownings that run like a top but take lousy pics at least..
