Is this the gradepro

Aggravated that I missed this. Thanks for letting the crew know, all the same!

Same. That's a good camera. I have 3.

Fwiw I wasn't able to get that price. The thing about being a preferred member or something.

Is there a breakdown of all the different cameras model features? Hard to tell the difference on their website.Looks like all of the 2024 models use a Sony sensor!

I need to check my camera inventory. Not sure how many I need. Seems past year or two I I've had several just sitting around.

If I feel the E5 is lose to being discontinued, I am definitely buying 1 or 2 more. I like having matching cameras, especially good working models. Miss the early/first gen coverts and moultrie 555. Only bought 1 moultrie 555, still works after 6 or 7 years maybe more. New moultries 800 series of 2 or 3 years ago suck. Like you guy, just want a basic camera. I don't even use video. Just 3 3 to 6 mp pics and Im good. Don't need to count hairs on their head. Far s eliminating false trggering, this has been the best camera I ever had.

Browning has some good deals right now as well.

What kind of eagle would you guys say that is?

Well, I hesitate to throw it out there, but everything I see keeps coming back as a juvenile golden eagle. Would be rare I think. Just to rule it out, is there any chance that is a smaller bird much closer that just appears it is further away? I don't think so, but have to rule it out.

I don't think so either. I will send this pic to a friend of mine with Fish and Wildlife and see what he says.

Dang that’s a tough pic. I can see the white on the wings being a juvenile golden, I can also make my mind think it’s a smaller bird closer up. Do you have it on photo+video mode? Would likely capture and eagle soaring.
As far as the detection range, it’s very impressive. I had a couple pics where it took me a minute to find the deer on the far hillside

I only use the photo mode. I just don't want to take the time to look at videos.

What I do for what it’s worth, i run photo video mode and that way it gives me to option to watch any video I want and just delete any I don’t. Video is cool, you see things sometimes photo doesn’t capture or it can give you different angles of a buck. In my opinion, there’s not much downside to doing it that way. Sure it takes a little more space on the card but I don’t let it sit for months so it never fills up for me

Has the markings of possibly a common nighthawk? But as discussed, it would have to be a small bird that is closer than appears (just like your truck’s passenger mirror 😂) Definitely a neat picture!

Maybe I'm a choosing beggar, but I'd love it if they would put the solar panels on sale at some point. I don't really need more cameras, but I'd love to move away from batteries.

I do have one solar panel and it is working awesome so far.

Grabbed an E8 with wifi for home. Good price.

Since my 8 year old Bushnell Trophys are starting to require constant repairs, I ordered 2 Gardepro E5S's. If the Trophys were still available at a decent price - NOT- they're $150 for old stock on Amazon I might have chose them again because I am so accustomed to running them. I still have 2 Trophys working, 2 Brownings which require zero learning curve and assorted other brands which were given to me and turned out to be JUNK. I never throw old cams away ....I use them as dummies along with the POS spypoint that crapped out in 60 days, and a couple 20 year old wildgame innov's.
I only ever do pics (unless I accidentally hit the wrong button} and that serves my needs fine.

I dont have many of these out this year but the 1 i do is sitting in about my favorite cam spot at a river crossing. Went through 2+ months of pictures last night and the date stamp on it is getting all funky! Started at early sept, got to late sept and then started over again earlier in Sept so I dont know what the real date of any pictures is. It's a bummer. I have gotten a bit lazy on checking that when putting batteries in and turning them on though as i've gotten too used to cell cams.
