I had to phone around to local seed and fertilizer stores, elevators, etc. Imidan (WP) comes in 1# and 5# bags. WP stands for wettable powder (easily dissolves in water).

Holy man, 5 pounds of it? What sort of mixture ratio are we using with this? I will have 100 fruit trees after this spring to tend to, so is 5 pound like a 5 year supply or a 50 year supply for me?

Off the top of my head I use 2 Tbsp Captain and 1 Tbsp of Imidan per gallon. Can't remember what that is in onces per gallon but with 100 trees it certainly won't last more than 1-2 years.

So can you mix capatan and imidan together in same batch of spray or do you do separate applications?

Yes many of of us mix Captan w/ Imidan, I even use Sevin w/ it.

Most products come water dispersible bags for larger spray applications I love it that way just drop the number of bags you need let agitation do the mixing , designed that way to limit personnel exposure be careful there is a reason there's skull and crossbones on that package
