Help identifying this tree?

I am way out of my comfort level with Texas flora but my WAG is rusty blackhaw Viburnum rufidulum.

Here's a close up of the bark on one of the smaller ones I found

Could it be a rusty Blackhaw?

If the leaves have rust colored hairs on the underside, then yes.

Not a black gum.

I think the picture of the first one is much to big to match the description of rusty blackhaw... all the desertions sat mutly trunked shrub... first one is easily 9 inch
And the smaller ones are 4.

This one has me stumped

Well, if the biggest one is "only" 30' tall I would say they are Viburnums. In that first group of pics you posted I thought it was a much larger tree than that. 30' tall with a 9 inch diameter is a very large blackhaw but possible I would say. And, you know what they say about Texas. :)
