Habitat / Outdoor Working Clothes

So you support a company that supports a required experimental shot that doesn’t work?
Nope! I Support companies that make science based decisions and protect employees and the community. I'm also fine with individuals who make individual decisions based on their personal convictions (misguided or not) that are willing to accept the consequences personally. Quite a bit less so for folks who intentionally twist the science for political purposes. (That goes for both left and right political groups).

Forced layoffs for employees who wouldnt take the jab.

I didn't know that. Thanks.

Here's the thing...if I boycotted all companies that I disagreed with socially, politically, economically, morally I would be only hurting myself, and would probably seriously reduce the # of companies I would deal with. Where would it end? Where do you draw the line? For example, I use PayPal quite a bit. BS company as far as their social policies go...but very handy. I just bought a WWII 1911A1 on Gunbroker and the guy would only take a PP payment. So, I used PP. Ebay is the same way. I hate the policies of the company. But if a rare part for a vintage tractor or an old snowmobile pops up that I need for a restoration I am going to use Ebay to buy it. Two crap companies, but if I boycott them only I lose. Wouldn't affect their bottom dollar a bit if I did. The US military discharged soldiers, sailors, and airmen who didn't get the shot. I would hardly boycott the military.

I like Carhartt stuff...always have. I feel bad for those that got laid off. And I understand your sentiment completely. But if I need a Carhartt jacket I am going to buy it. I'd try to buy it locally at my mom and pop outfitter. But failing that, I'd even buy it from Dick's, or Ebay and then use Paypal to pay for it.

And isn't that how it is supposed to work. Companies are free to run their businesses any way they want within the bounds of the law and we can consumers are free to make our own decisions as to what products to buy based on whatever criteria we want.

I generally wear Elimitick pants and socks. I have another brand of tick repelling shirt, but it's thick cotton that I don't care for. The socks are thick too but I still wear them. I generally spray one of those long sleeve performance shirts with Permethrin if I think about it the night before. I did a check after working the other day and thought I was good. I didn't find out until getting home that a tick dug into the skin between my fingers.
