It was tough hunting, bears quit hitting baits. Hooked up with some friends with hounds. Big bears were hard to come by. Shot this old sow, dressed out at 250. Her teeth were worn down to nothing. Guys figured she was 25-30 years old. I sent the tooth in for aging, i will be curious to see her age. She had great fur, real long hair. It will make a nice rug for the cabin. When we caught up to the dogs she was fighting on the ground, we couldn't get a clear shot without hitting a dog. Finally got her up a tree. Here's a video.
