Put a fire ring in last weekend out at the farm using some original flagstone foundation stones from the property, found a line of stone just inside the woods. I'm all about recycling stone from the property seems to give it more meaning.
Found a section of 5/8" steel pipe about three feet across and sixteen inches high to use for the insert..it should last about 100 years...it weighed a ton.
I have a bunch of apple/pear trees about thirty yards behind this and I'll be putting in some plum and cherry trees next spring. It has a great view of the new ponds, can't wait to drink an Angry Orchard in my orchard while the sun is going down and geese are gliding into the ponds while having a little cook out with friends&family.
