Does anyone have experience with a solar well?

I think I am going to have a well drilled (50-75ft of casing) in an area that needs a watersource due to pretty limited rainfall.
I am not sure how well a pond would work and the quotes/comments from local equipment operators have not been positive. T
he thought would be to have a water tub and let the solar well trickle in the tank nonstop.

Does anyone here know much about them or have a take on this idea?

I do not know much about it but I love the idea. Look forward to hearing what folks think. A garden pond pre-formed tub from lowes or home depot could be an amazing habitat tool even without the continued water supply from the well but the solar powered well + a little garden pond sounds fantastic. Love it!
