Was looking for one place where we could trade current political event info....and thought I would start a thread. Recently things change fast on a daily basis...and we got a few clear thinking folks here with some insight on such things.

OK.....well Trump sure has hit the ground running and has gotten most of his picks for a cabinet that is in-sync with his promises. Lots accomplished in the past month. However, today a few issues are un-resolved and murky.

1. Zellinski left the Oval Office after a dust up between him and Trump on the minerals deal. Not sure if this is a bargaining means by either party.....or if the war will continue. Wonder who is gonna back Ukraine with the weapons they need to continue a war?

2. The Epstein files continue to be slow-walked to Bondi's desk. I think between Trump, Bondi, and Patel they should be able to get this chit out in the open....if that is what is really wanted. Current culprit appears to be the New York FBI office. Bondi gave them 14 days to deliver the goods. I would not have given the 14 minutes. WTH?

3. Gaza is still in Flux. I do not expect any major movement here.....tho some ideas are floating.

Kinda wondered about that Bill. I sure appreciate if you want/need to shut it down. Seems we do talk about these events....but usually they come up in a different topic area. If it goes off the rails.....toss it (IMO). Thanks

Kinda wonder it they won't still try to put the wheels back on this deal? Not many good options for Ukraine....unless Europe steps up to the plate. ....and I would be fine with that too. That is who should be financing this dog and pony show. Not sure why the USA should take on this role when they (Europe) got more to lose than we do.

I don’t like Zelensky either . He campaigned with Democrats in Pennsylvania, which is election interference. They have laundered money from the US

Thousands dead, he can’t win ! It’s a very terrible situation, but he’s not going to win !!

I wonder if there's an alternate universe out there where there's a forum dedicated to Politics, Conspiracy Theories, and World Affairs but the members mostly discuss food plots, habitat management, and hunting knives.

I think all the people who want to support Ukraine should take out their own checkbooks and start writing. Same with the illegals, show up with a van or send an uber and take into your own household how many you want to personally support. Other peoples desires and whims are not my problem. jmho

Agreed. But Ukraine isn’t an adversary. Russia, China, Iran are. He doesn’t treat them like he treats Ukraine and Mexico and Canada and France etc. it just can be perceived in many different ways

The problem with today's "optics" is that by not having a resolution together BEFORE the actual deal signing......this dispute will only make Russia stronger and more resolved to win it's way. BAD bluffing here and the end result is a disaster for Ukraine....if this does not come back to the signing table in a few hours....IMO.

Zelinski should have never showed up if he was not ready for the proposed deal.

He chose the Democrats, they lost ? I saw him signing bombs In Pennsylvania with Democrats. Bad move on his part… look at the polls and notice Trump was up in all the swing states? This was an foreign attempt at election interference!
