Cuddeback's Cuddelink

I'd love to get about 3-5 cameras hooked up to my phone, but looking at over 5000 replies doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about trying to do it.
It's not too hard to set up once you understand how to do it. The system at our camp has grown to twelve cameras and has been exceptionally reliable. Much better than the old guy who used to go around pulling cards, forgetting to turn cameras on, putting in full memory cards, chasing game, etc. :)

My hesitation is from scanning through these pages. Seems like an awful lot of issues.

I have mine come to email. They are automatically put into a folder I named Cuddeback pictures. That way it does not fill up my inbox and I can review at leisure. The daily report is also automatically filed in a folder named Cuddeback Reports. I don’t find the process burdensome in any way. I have another brand that sends text notifications….it drives me crazy.

Texts would get annoying.

This is a media forum around how to deal with issues so your going to see a lot of these issues because there are thousands of users.
It's like going on an apple support forum, and after reading, never wanting a Macbook.
Most issues are resolved pretty easily. Only long-term hiccup I've ever had with them is they no longer text to Verizon customers.
If you think the texts will get annoying, you can just have it sent via email or set up your delay where you're not getting so many pictures of the same deer.

And the thread is over 7 years old. The new L series have only been out a little over a year I think? Great system!

Just did a little reading, but have a question. I have 2 properties, home and my hunting property 5 miles away. Ideally, I would have 2 cameras at home and 3 on the other property. Would I need 2 "cell homes", and if so, does that mean I would have 2 monthly bills or is that close enough to link?

Yes, two bills.

quick questiion on the L series cams. Can these cams be set to take 2 or 3 pics at each trigger or are they like the previous models where if the cam is set at one minute it will take one pic when triggered and then after a minute will be ready to be triggered again for another single pic.?

Doesn't have a burst pics setting.

Not sure why you think it would be hard, if you can read instructions and follow directions it’s normally simply.
Mine have been running for 5-6 years with basically no problems.

I'm going by 262 pages. As I scan through it's constant questions. Red flag, IMO.

Then I would get another brand and save the hassle of having multiple cameras on one network sending pictures through one of three methods directly to your handheld or desktop device while simultaneously allowing you to make changes and run diagnostics remotely.

I have a camera drop off for various reasons from time to time. I recently had one go down and when I went to it the screen said SD full. I shut it down and restarted it and the SD was actually less than 1% full. Luckily for me I live on the property so the fix is easy. Another time the cell home unit fell off with no code or anything. A quick reset brought it back. It seems each time is a different reason. Its not constant, but there seems to be no consistency with WHY they are falling off.

Sounds completely trouble free. Thanks for the suggestion.

I challenge you to find a camera that is completely trouble free.

If i have to go out to reset it when there's a problem, that defeats the purpose. I may as well stay with what I have.

5 secs is what I have most of mine set at.
