You obviously didn't understand the point I was making. The billions of people that you refer to aren't "IN" on anything. There aren't that many people in the WORLD that are actually making all of the decisions. The same people that are telling Biden what to do are the same people telling world leaders around the globe what to do. How is this so hard for you to understand? Like it or not WE do not live in a constitution republic and either does anyone else. We are nothing more than glorified slaves that are given just enough freedom that we don't break and bring it all down.

WAKE THE F#@& UP PEOPLE!!!

I am not an anti Vaxer. I just don’t see a true benefit for me to go get jabbed with something I don’t know what it will do to me long term. You chose to get the shot because you were concerned with what the virus will do to you long term, I choose not to get the vaccine because I don’t know what the vaccine will do to me long term.

Just a thought, but what if in a few years men, or woman become unable to have kids because of the vaccine? Or it gives you cancer, or weekens your immune system, and now you catch many other viruses, we don’t know. That is why I think it is dumb to force everyone to get a shot, that is less then a year old, and don’t have any history of side effects. All to increase my chances of survival from 99% to 99.5%.

If I was in the high risk category, I may think it different. I may get it later this year, I may not. I just don’t see any advantage to me at this time.

This is exactly how I feel.
 
The flu vaccine has been around for 70+ years yet we still have the flu. Don't kid yourself thinking these vaccines are going to stop it from mutating. I already had Covid and my symptoms were cold like. Explain to me why I need to get vaccinated with something that hasn't been fully approved? Life has a 100 % fatality rate yet I still chose to live it. I also don't try to help people that don't want to be helped, because it only provides frustration on both sides. How deadly is Covid? Did the world population increase or decrease in 2020?
 
I really wish people would stop referring to everyone that wont get the jab for Covid "anti-vaxxers"

I had all my shots growing up, but I do agree that pharmaceutical companies are less than honest and there is a lot of money involved considering every "standard shot" that kids get these days makes them a lot of money.

I never once resisted getting my daughter every one of her shots even though the number of required shots has gone crazy.

The Covid vax's were not approved the regular way every other vaccine was through years of testing before they were used on humans. Yet our government keeps the slogan "safe and effective" when they have no way of knowing what the long term effects are. And safe is in the eye of the beholder, kids, young kids are having heart problems from the jab.

There is no liability on the less than honest pharmaceutical companies.

Our government passed a law that no drugs could be used "off label" to combat Covid, which is in part why the "emergency use" is still in place for the jab. They have a whole toolbox of tools (anti-viral drugs) but only allowed to use one wrench (the jab). Most of those drugs are 40-50 years old and proven safe to at least try something.

I am not an anti-vaxxer, I am not alone, there are many of us that simply don't trust Fauci, Pharmaceutical companies or any of the removal of freedoms with the laws that surround all this BS. People making the laws like Newsome in Ca that send police into churches, but breaks his own lock down laws for a fancy dinner out.
 
Natty, i dont think anyone on here has bashed anyone for getting the jab. Everyone, including me is on the if you want it get it side. The bashing mostly comes from the jabbed side, calling is anti vaxxers and such. My point is that no one has the right to tell me i have to wear a mask, stay home, not work, get a shot, etc.
From what ive seen, this isnt much more than the flu or pneumonia or the common cold. Some will be adversely affected, maybe die, but the vast ,vast majority will be just fine. I travel, a lot. Ive met no one who has long term effects, no one who knows anyone who died of covid. Been through it many times on here how i personally have had my parents get it, my fil had it, 3 uncles had it, wifes gma plus almost the entire nursing home she lives in had it. Every one of them is fine. Worst was an uncle who was on oxygen for a while. But lets be honest here, at 85 if he were to have gotten pneumonia ( which he may have actually had ,but when you're getting paid for covid patients you'll find covid patients) it probably would have been the same.
So all that being said, yes i do believe covid is really not that big of a deal.
My only issue is with the ones who come on and tell everyone how dumb they are for not buying the hype
 
Just to be clear, I had covid once and I feel twice with about a 7 month gap between. The first time I was very ill. Not near as much the second time.

Both of my doctors have concerns about the long term risks of the vaccine. Both also feel vaccine is the best thing for some people.

Someone said that covid is not seasonal.

I have the feeling it is seasonal and you need to look at the various regions of the country and the weather patterns over the last few weeks. You can’t look at the country as a whole.

Availability of outside activities and in a dry or humid climate are factors, as are gatherings in different conditions, and also severe cold weather.

Corona virus infections in cattle have a pattern that is very weather/climate dependent based on housing and air flow.

Pfizer sold $7.8 billion in Covid vaccines during the 2nd qtr of this year. Wonder why folks may question the jab?

The flu kills roughly 30k each year in the US and largely goes away every spring , summer, and early fall. Covid is not seasonal and US Covid deaths are now 600k. Not asking this in a snarky way at all, but how do you reconcile that? Fake news? Fake data? Over-reporting? Mis-reporting actual cause of death? Genuinely curious.

It's one thing to say you don't trust the vaccine. I get that and had the same concerns. It's one thing to say you don't trust the government. I get that too, and share a certain distrust. To believe your immune system is adequate to fight Covid...yep, I fully agree. To not trust Faucci, to be cynical of big pharma and the Wuhan lab...I am with you on all of that. I just don't understand how people think that Covid is as harmless as the common cold.

I could absolutely care less about people who choose not to get the jab. Could care less. I support you...and I understand fully. But man, those who got it (to include me) have been trashed on this thread with some pretty vile on sophomoric language. Minding one's own business has got to be a 2 way street.

Trust me ........ I'm NOT fragile. My feelings ARE NOT HURT. Some of these guys can trash me all they want - I don't hate them, or wish Covid on any of them. They scream of freedom ............. but don't respect the freedoms of prudent people to wear masks if they so choose, or to get shots. They project a "tough-guy" image and belittle the prudent, cautious folks. IMO - let them play the "tough guys." I trust doctors .............. NOT politicians & TV talking heads. I also have a wife and family to think about - so I either listen to doctors - or highly-paid yappers.

As you've stated, there are long-term consequences with Covid-19. I've had the real flu before a few times - with no long-term lung problems or memory loss / loss of taste or smell. But I have a couple relatives who are STILL on oxygen 6 months after they had Covid ( which they barely survived. ) 2 camp members are dealing with lung damage, which may take some years off their lives, and one is taking expensive medications to help him breathe now. His lung specialist showed him his lung x-rays and they're "cob-webby" in appearance - as opposed to clear. Even he said, " I F-ed up. I should have gotten the shot." He and I have hunted together for years, and I feel bad for him - but it's too late for him now. High price to pay, IMO.

Once again - to all - I'm not angry ........... just AMAZED.

H20 Fowler got the term correct. The dots are called an ellipsis. They signify a pause in a sentence or thought process, or are a replacement for a word or words in a sentence. There is NO designated "limit" on the number of dots used.

Not what I was taught, but hey - I won't dispute what you're saying. I don't space between the dots cuz - it's just easier to lean on the "dot" button. Beg forgiveness.

Big Bend, I hear you on the wife side of things. Mine is in better shape than when we started dating 17 years ago. after carrying 2 kids, and raising 3 boys... She looks better than she ever has. And her looks ain't even the most attractive thing about her. I'm a blessed man.

Bows, its your side that's getting up in everyone else's business. Those that choose not to join the experiment, what have they proposed to take away from other side?

We're not demanding anyone lose their job. We're not proposing to excommunicate people from commerce and entertainment venues. We're not the ones banning alternative medicines and therapies that actually work. We're not the ones sending goons door to door. We're not the ones trying to box out the parents and influence children into going against their parents' wishes.

You guys are the ones that are overstepping your bounds. We'd all be better off if the busy bodies would watch their own damn bobber and leave us alone. Turn off the TV fella.

This entire thing has been about money since the beginning. stock market manipulation, meddling with realestate values, vaccines, never ending booster shots, etc., etc. It isn't going to end. The way I see it at this point in time world wide revolution is going to be a must to put an end to it. With all of the protests happening across the world I feel it is getting close.
