Cool story on intact bottles of cherries found at George Washington's home

This is a cool story about a recent archeological find at George Washington's home. I will say that the story becomes tainted by trash later in the article when they have to veer away from the main point of the article to make sure that we are all aware that slaves built most of the plantation and that they weren't even likely allowed to eat those cherries SO IRRELEVANT TO THE STORY BUT IT HAS TO BE INCLUDED. I am so tired of constant BS like this in articles. It would have been a great article without it.

I thought I’d dig around for an article without the enslaved people nonsense. Wouldn’t ya know, I can’t find one… . Cool story either way. I tried to preserve some peppers once and they got mold within a week…
