I can only assume it’s your favorite bogeyman- The Jews….. So Gaza?

And what this has to do with wounded American servicemen IDK. Some kind of misguided “America does it too” equivalency attempt I guess.

I agree with Trump here. Get the hell of nato. Europe is largely worthless and they bring nothing to the table hardly as a military partner. This agreement is 100% one sided. He has a great point on Ukraine. Not our war but we helped tremendously. Now those limp wristed eurotrash won’t let us use their bases to strike a terror regime that has ballistic missiles that could destroy their cities, let alone help in this conflict. Additionally I’m almost certain Iran has breached the article 5 doctrine by firing missiles at nato countries, Turkey this week, and they do nothing. Now I understand Turkey not doing anything cause Muslim blood is thicker than a contract

Be careful forming an opinion on a diverse nation based on the actions of their leader, likewise treating Turkey as a united homogeneous unit. The Turkish "ethnicity" is a relatively new concept, and they are not very good at politics or understanding their place in the world. They are basically the remnants of the Ottoman empire and only became "Turkey" after WW1.

Erdogan Was the first elected president, and he's a self-serving prick who has been using his power to erode the democratic system in Turkey and suppress political opposition and protests against him.

I'm not saying he doesn't have the support of the majority, but a lot of Turks clearly disagree with him, and elections and polls are rather opaque in Turkey.

NATO countries did support the U.S. in all the GWOT type conflicts in the past.

What is different this time? Well he tried to tarriff the hell out of the EU (our largest trading partner)

He has spent every moment since his last term insulting them. (This did get most of them up to the 5% gdp defense spending so well done I guess)

The president should have reached out ahead of time and built concensus prior to acting. I mean thats what every other president has done.

He has given the appearence of buddying up to Putin, a murderous dictator and his little buddy Viktor Orbahn. Putin has Europe on edge- No one needs another Soviet Union. Can we blame them for thinking "we got him to worry about and we have our own islamist problems, we can't afford this right now..."

I thought we conservatives were against getting dragged into other countries conflicts? Maybe if you treat longtime allies like dirt and then don't consult them for the next war before you do it (and declare victory the next day right before you ask for help) maybe its easier to understand why they took a pass on getting dragged into a new misadventure.

Also, the idea is "an attack on any NATO country is an attack on all". Not "an attack by a NATO country requires every country to join in the attack".

Right now the only thing keeping Putin out of eastern Europe is a bunch of brave and smart Ukranians defending their own soil and the NATO alliance.

BTW- I just bought 23 gallons of gas for $4.19. We are already out of beef for the year at the WW residence. Wife called the meat processer where our farmer friend takes the beef we eat. Yes, they have the ground beef we need, but it's $7 a pound. WTF.

Bunch of inept bullshit going on is what I think. And I bet it gets worse tonight.

That was Putin.

At least our farmer can afford to feed $4 corn to his cattle. I mean what else is he going to do with it.

"Poland has become the first EU nation to introduce mandatory shooting training for school children, aiming to teach basic weapon handling skills to pupils aged 13-14 and older amid rising security concerns. These programs often involve simulators or live firing, and the country plans to train 400,000 citizens by 2026"

"Latvia: All high school students in Latvia receive mandatory military training, which includes learning to shoot weapons."

Don't know how many Polish immigrants you've been around. The men have been powerlifting since they were 7, will hack your computer to see if you are a russian spy and waterboard some islamist enemies for information, all before lunch.

Not every country is Spain.

I thought the same thing, but my parents tell me beef prices are through the roof due to shortages. I was wondering why beef farmers don't crank out some calves and bulk them up with cheap soybeans and then fatten them with corn and get more beef out on the domestic market. Trump could get beef put into some trade deals and get some global market share for American beef farmers. The more our global market share decreases, the more inroads we make fornthe Kiwis, whose beef exports are skyrocketing, especially to China. Meanwhile US beef exports are becoming more and more expensive and less available.

I'm guessing the next 5 to 10 years will see a seismic shift in US agriculture. I would hate to see a future where everyone is eating chicken and soyburgers because it's the only thing most people can afford.

Most of the actual beef producers aren't making big money. It's mostly a monopoly of 4-5 processors that are making money.

There are less processors for small scale producers. They get to full production and it becomes harder for small producers.

Why did anyone expect anything different from the immature, impulsive occupant of the oval office?
Before anyone says Harris would have been worse, I'll agree she wouldn't know what to do. But is this really what you wanted to happen when you cast your ballot?

Beef isn't a one year crop. You don't just crank them out.

I believe it. I couldn't make heads of tails of the source of the problem. I just see US beef prices and imports at all-time highs, and exports are falling. It's a worrying trend that seems to be part of a looming crisis in US agriculture, and I don't see much being done about it.

Trump didn't speak immature to the Europeans, he spoke the truth very directly.

They want our protection from Russia but buy Russian energy. The armies of europe can't defend themselves in any way shape or form.

The US spent billions in Ukraine after, for the most part, disarming them and pretty much setting back and letting Russia invade. Well, Obama and Biden said don't, then set back and watched.

In the meantime, the euros just kept whining while doing nothing more than shredding electric power production capabilities making themselves more reliant on Russia and China.

All while paying and supporting people of other countries that hate them to invade and destroy them from within.

Not far off. It takes about 2 years to raise a beef steer.

I just see corn and soybean prices in the dirt and beef prices at all-time highs, and I wonder why there's not an effort to produce more beef. I assume it's because US retailers can make more money importing it. But then how are the Trump tariffs helping US agriculture? If beef quality in the US is dropping and prices are rising, this is bad for consumers. I paid $8 a pound for ground beef at Meijer several weeks ago, and I was gobsmacked.

My super nutrition conscious uber fitness nut 23 year old daughter that used to eat a lot of chicken is murdering our corn fed lean ground beef.

Hoping she's part of a bigger trend. Eat Beef! (and venison of course.)

Corn is up 8% in six months, Soybeans are up 15% in 6 months. Beef is near all time high .

My farmers on the farms I own would like to see higher prices, but they all seemed encouraged by the increase? One guy bumped up the rent ? Nobody wants to give it up !

Diesel and fertilizer will eventually come back to reality, a lot of guys locked in prices.
