There are two branches of military in Iran, the IRGC and the Artesh. The IRGC are the hard core fanatical islamists and the Artesh is “regular army”. They will keep trying to hammer the IRGC with hope that they Artesh will take over and secure the country for a non-theocratic government.

I don't see any peace option the Iranians could ever entertain with isreael. When you see (and they've had a front row seat) what they've done to every country around them, the broken cease fires, the invasions, attacks, false flags, and genocides, to disarm would be national suicide.

This is all predicated on the idea that Iran is a sovereign nation. I have my doubts. Let's not lose sight of the fact Obama gave them $150 billion dollars in the pallets of cash operation, and Biden gave them $83 billion in weapons and gear via the Taliban-US weapons rummage sale in Afghanistan. Which further illustrates my point that we are always funding the "terror" we're fighting.

It's quite the puzzle to try to figure out what's really going on over there. Is it really a war, or just a big wealth transfer under the ruse of war? If we're in a legit fight, we may be in deep shit, because the entire west and NATO couldn't keep up munitions manufacturing for the Nazis fighting the Russians in Ukraine. With that still going on, and now Iran, we may be way over our skis here.

I wish very much our troops were not in the middle of this giant mistake, and pray they can get out of there quickly and safely.

What do you mean? I never suggested a peace agreement between Israel and Iran, though that is potentially an option if the Iranian government is replaced. I mentioned a peace agreement between the Arabs and the Israelis against the Iranians, which has been in the works for years.

I skipped a few steps ahead. I didn't mean you suggested that.

What I'm saying is, if Iran is bombed into rubble, is that the end point? It can't be. That's why I question the whole operation in general. There is no end point to this conflict that can satisfy both sides. There is no amount of disarmament that will satisfy israel. There is no amount of subjugation that Iran can tolerate because they know what happens next if they cannot defend themselves.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t blindly trust the media either, but this was the narrative from the same outfits giving us the facts today. This is the folly of picking a fight with regimes built to win vs regimes built to pillage the treasuries of their own citizenry.

That's probably not true. It's not necessary to destroy Iran, nor is it the objective. They want either regime change or to cripple the regime if they can't overthrow it.
