I suspect there are lots of concerns about spies/ information leaks. Harder to reduce this with another country involved or worse with a group of countries like NATO.

That's a good point, and a reasonable concern. Norway is crawling with Russian spies. Greenland is almost as strategically located as Norway for the Russians. And Greenland is one of the most strategically important locations for the US vis-a-vis intercepting ICBMs.

Denmark is an ally, but it's just too small to properly administer and defend a landmass the size of Greenland.

That's not new. That warning was most recently issued over a month ago, and has been in effect for years. The State Department has a whole list of travel advisories on their website. Venezuela was dangerous even when I was there 20 years ago.

That was HTS. Al Qaeda is still on the list. That is not to say HTS doesn't have ties to al-Qaeda. Their allegiances are about as clear as mud, and seem to be changing almost daily.

Well he left it all to the Taliban. It would not surprise me if some of it ends up with HTS. They seem to be ideologically aligned, so even if there's no formal cooperation, the Taliban might very well sell arms to HTS. It actually makes sense, considering the Taliban doesn't need half the massive stockpile of weapons Biden left them.

I didn't say they were not happy or celebrating, I am sure many of them are happy. I said several of the videos of the celebration was fake. I first heard about it by CNBC but many other sources are reporting it world wide that fake IA videos of the celebrations were released mostly for clicks. Why is this news? Because they are not easily recognized as fake, IA is getting better and better everyday and you cannot tell anymore without high tech research. Experts were amazed at the speed and the perfection of some of the videos. Go down the rabbit hole yourself there is plenty of information about it

Fake news and fake propaganda is nothing new for big government and "TV news." I remember watching a fake news slaughter of people in a Syrian village or some shit like that and it ended up being footage from a gun range in Kentucky.... I figure most of the shit they feed us is fake while they rob us blind. Hard to believe some people actually believe we went to the moon on a flying trashcan in 1969.
