Idk I’m not seeing a huge issue with the Kimmel thing. If trump operated behind the scenes like other presidents we would hear about these things years later i.e the Obamas and Biden’s censoring. But he can’t help himself, good or bad, and we see it in real time.
If the left wants to fire Barr for saying racist things they sure seem to overlook when their side says racist and anti semitic things on air. Hell 3/4 of espn talking heads spew hate of white people and conservatives on air daily. The view…nonstop hatred. I don’t see the left or the right trying to fire them.

For sure, censorship by government comes in many forms. None should be acceptable under the 1st amendment.

Kimmel, Roseanne, the cake baker guy, etc, all well within their rights to say what they want. Their employers within their right to fire them. When the government gets involved, not good, IMO.

People are idiots. People are crazy and getting crazier. Want to do something to improve our country? Start ignoring people on social media, podcasts and tv that cant talk without shouting, using bad language, acting outraged about every damn thing.

Think about what it would be like to live next door to these people. If you hear them talk and you think “I kinda agree but I wouldn’t want to live next to that guy/gal” you don’t need it.

Half these media people are just stoking, stoking, stoking and pretending there aren’t consequences. There are.

I don’t like what is going on. None of it. But we as humans don’t seem to be able to self regulate our behavior any more.

Hell, half of us don’t even know what we are mad about. My wife got her hair done yesterday. Gal that does her hair is a sweetheart of a person and does good in the world. She was talking about Jimmy Kimmel. It was really clear she had no idea what Jimmy Kimmel even said.

It has been a long time since I watched late night tv. I have tried. They aren’t funny. I think at one time late night tv was something that kind of united us all. I don’t think Johnny Carson or even David Letterman were afraid of taking a swipe at the president but it was never JUST taking a swipe. It was real comedy. And I think they knew they were talking to the whole country.

One of my buddy’s said he read an article that said Kimmel might have got sidelined not so much for what he said but what he submitted for script approval the night he got canned. I often read something where some hollywood elite or singer, etc - feels compelled to say something on their OWN social media platforms. Of course, if it is really a offensive statement to me - doesnt even have to be political - say they call sport hunters a bunch of neanderthal knuckle dragging idiots - I feel compelled to boycott their movies or songs, etc.

Rachel Zegler, the actress who recently played snow white, said some negative thinks about past snow white productions, negative things about trump, etc. The snow white movie bombed - in part because of her negative comments turning off a bunch of potential customers - potentially costing Disney millions of dollars. Disney should have fired her immediately and sued her if possible.

Someone once asked Michael Jordan why he didnt use his popularity to support political folks running in elections. He said “republicans buy tennis shoes, too”. A smart billionaire.

How does your corn crop look??? About 5 weeks ago I thought I had 250-300 bushel corn coming. The last few weeks southern rust and tarspot has decimated the crop in my area. I brought in the plane to spray about 80% of my acres back in July and they are barely hanging on. 200-225 seems more likely now. The fields that did not get sprayed are horrible. LOTS of dead brown corn from pre mature death.


This is what mine looked like 5 weeks ago. Looks pretty ugly now. I've been having LOTS of respiratory issues. Gonna be a gross harvest. I got a box of N95 on the way. God know where all this shit comes from.....

USDA was projecting Iowa 219, Illinois at 215, Minnesota at 197, Indiana at 198, Nebraska at 193. No way in hell that happens according to the reports I am hearing. If you look up southern rust and tarspot on your favorite social media sites there seems to be plenty of farmers commenting about crops that have been decimated in the last 4-6 weeks. Its gotten really ugly around my area. Iowa seems to be hit very hard. You are gonna see a very gross looking harvest. Blackened combines and machinery coming to a field near you.


Call me a conspiracy theorist, but the guys releasing this disease will probably be along shortly with a cure to sell us dumb farmers....

My opinion is if a person is not representing or is in someway the face of a company then what they do is no business of mine. I can disagree but for me to do background checks and find out who their friends are, who they work for etc and work to upend their life because of some stupid shit they said just seems wrong to me. Makes me no better than them.
Kimmel like I said deserve what he got, he is directly representing the network and it's their discretion what they do with him.
