I'm against it. It's a slippery slope. Bad people will do bad things no matter what. Infringing on the rights of everyone doesn't solve that problem. However, we could do better at punishing individuals when they violate the rights of others.

Correct, enforce the laws we currently have accordingly and that fixes almost all of what's wrong now.

The officials just reported they have found the weapon in the woods and they have video footage of the shooters face. Does not sound like a professional hit to me. No doubt with Face ID they will catch him.

Yeah.....but not every crackpot idiot on the street is aware of such rifles and gear to make single shot's like this. Not sure of the details, but I would like to know more about the rifle, scope and shooting rest used for the shot. That could easily determine if this is a hired hit job.....or not.

Normally try not to jump to conclusions on this stuff because the waters are always murky but this seems relevant. I saw it was initially reported by the WSJ.

It took a lot of intentional misleading the masses to get us to this point. Our country hasn't just gone to hell all on it's own, it took how many thousands of false accusations and basically brainwashing the public to get everyone so hell bent on the government and all it's corruption. Sanctuary cities should have been snuffed out at the very beginning. Enabling criminals to get back on the streets asap isn't ok. Lowering the bar for damn near everything and promoting DEI is pure bullshit. Common sense is damn hard to find anymore. We need to enforce the laws that we have and makes examples out of the crazies that are so desperate for attention in my opinion. Democrats have absolutely nothing left to run on it's just trying to take out the opponent at this point. They tried to kill our president and that got hardly any attention. ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT.

The gun control for trannies is something I absolutely agree with. I don’t think people with mental illnesses should ever be able to own a firearm and trannies are the absolute definition of mental illness. Not one single person who believes they are another gender does not have a mental illness

They apprehended the wrong person twice which presumably slowed down the search for the actual shooter, you may be right (this is the right thread for that).

I have a hard time coming to that conclusion myself, given who would have to be involved, but who knows.
