Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

I disagree. The tribes all benefit from thinking this way. It makes it easier to rationalize things when it is us vs them. It's really easy to look at the worst version of the different tribe and the best version of "my" tribe. It's human nature and something everyone is susceptible to. Think of all the conflicts this world has seen because of an us vs. them mentality.

How many times has each of us moved the goal posts for the people we most often associate or agree with?

If the opposing side was doing the same, would I be as ok with it?

Is there a possibility my side is not telling the whole story?

The path of least resistance is to think in binary, and the people spinning narratives count on it. Humans have been around for 250,000 years. Tribes helped us survive as a species, but the instinct to ride along with "our" tribes no matter what is holding us back.

So you’re down with a dude in a skirt going into the bathroom with my granddaughter?

How about free housing and healthcare for illegal criminals?

Cashless bail?

I could go on. My tribe has whacko’s but they are often called out by my tribe. My tribe doesn’t fly to foreign countries to have margaritas with deported human trafficking MS13 members.

Conspiracy theory here, I think Foggy may have tapped that?? Maybe that is what set him off?🤣
I guess I do not have time right now to research what was said. Whatever.

Here’s the rundown:

There was a meme of Elizabeth Warren next to the dead Pa shooter who is Warrens male doppelgänger.

This was because there is a conspiracy theory that the shooter was Warren’s son that she had when she was in her 50’s and gave up for adoption. (For those keeping score at home: Actual conspiracy theory. Not proven true.)

Warren has claimed to be part native American

Someone made a joke that Crooks doesn’t look native american

Someone else called the dude who made the joke an ‘effin idiot and tried to get him banned.

Summary complete. Can probably move on now.

We’d all be better off if we held the politicians we support to the same standards as the ones we oppose.
100%. I have mostly a super conservative mindset but this very much lacking. Imagine is Biden took 10% stake in Intel or demanded nvidia give a country advanced chips in exchange for the cut of the profit. Because national security isn’t a problem if you pay a penalty…

Remember Obama's "red line" comment regarding Syria and how much flack he caught for that (rightfully so) when they crossed it?

How many times in the last 6 months have we made similar comments about Russia aggression in Ukraine only to walk it back and explain it away as "Biden's war"?

Yeah this one has me scratching my head and doesn’t seem right. But then again bailing out GM with nothing in return didn’t seem right either. I guess at least the tax payers might get something back for bailing out intel. But it seems odd to me.

Right or wrong are the sides I think bill is talking about. 1 side is right 99%of the time the other is pure evil plain and simple. IMHO nothing to do with Republican versus Democrat, they both suck most of the time. It's about what's right and what's wrong

100%. And that’s a super interesting discussion not limited to the tariffs.

We are at war with China. There is an argument that we are better off selling the H20 chips to China so they have to work within NVDA framework rather than developing their own innovations. There other argument is every H20 we sell them is a H200 not available to the west to fuel our own innovation.

I don’t know enough about Intel. My loving bride is in the biz and I recently asked about Intel when it looked like the stock might be a good short term investment. She is not convinced of the product they currently produce. I decided to stay away, even for the short term. Long story short, I would have had to use money already making 4% and I avoid investments in companies I donm’t have confidence in. I’m aware profits were made.)

Oh, if only life was that simple.

I’m reminded of a a justice department that just released tape of the convicted sex offender that said two absolute hound dog politicians were absolute gentlemen at all times in her presence. Both heroes of their respective tribes.

I really doubt it.

You can always be counted on to say something that will be ignored.
Just because you can't handle the answer? Some of us do , we don't just blindly believe what the politicians we support tell us like some do. Guys like you think they can't be wrong because that's what they were told

See, that's how a single (simple?) minded person thinks... Only black and white because they are told something from a source they choose to believe

And it is that simple..
I support Trump, but I don't agree with the way he has handled some things (Epstein). Not a damn thing I as a private citizen can do about it except not agree. You on the other hand seem to just blindly support every catch phrase from the left while trying to tell everyone your not left.. figure out what side you are on... Good or evil. I made my choice. It really is that simple.. no gray areas

I think we’ve done a good job roasting the trump admin over protecting the pedos. I’ve given him plenty of shit for helping kill all those peasants in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Jordan, yemen, Ukraine, Russia, and various countries in Africa.
