Concordia Oaks and Swamp / Bur Hybrids

When I bring mine out, they go under my maples trees for filtered light for a few weeks.

The problem I have with starting them early is they can’t take the sun when I finally dare put them outside.

I’m too chirpy chirpy cheap cheap for a greenhouse………

I probably wouldn’t be if I was a bachelor.

I tried starting inside, but I don't have a great spot for it, and it didn't make much of a difference after a season of growing, assuming I do my job properly.

One year update. MDC Concordia oaks. March 2025 planted as bareroot in Zone 6B. Survived a bitter cold winter. Very slow to wake up and I was getting concerned, but finally leafing out
