Yep they hear the dinner bell ringing.I planted my fall plots this weekend and had mama and her fawns on 2 of the 3 when I came back within the hour. It's almost like they hear you working out there and as soon as it quiets down they come to check out what you did.
We take probably 3-5 does a year and actually their numbers are down a little, I live in Amish country here so most they also shoot whatever is brown.Scott do u shoot does? If not when was the last time? I see mainly old sows, and two fawns, maybe 3 fawns. I think your density is higher than mine. Remember it's density, and yours is off the charts.
Nice looking plots, pretty easy and you prove the doubters rye can't be planted too thick. That disc is the best way to do it.
