Yearling... With promise
This is a 3 yr old Enterprise that has car pretty bad. What can I do to help this tree or is it to late?

It appears as if new growth is not infected. Is CAR seasonal for you?

Yes car is seasonal as we have cedar trees fairly close to our orchard. Besides pruning and fertilizing, I’ve never sprayed the trees. I was thinking that Enterprise was resistant? I also have a Honeycrisp that has been affected and hasn’t grown at all but is alive.

That amount of CAR won’t affect fruiting or the health of the tree. I wouldn’t worry about what I see in that picture. This is a bad year for CAR in my area. Even Liberty is showing some, but the apples will be just fine. If it bothers you, next spring you can spray and prevent it next year - but don’t ask me what to spray, because I’ve never done it. Best wishes.
