If it is a Blanding's Turtle, which I think it is, it is considered to be an endangered species.

I have a 3 legged one i have seen 3 different years at my house.

All 3 times i found it crossing the road in front of the house.

Unless they are all 3 legged????

Blandings for sure. My parents have a bunch in their pond every year. Use to catch them all the time as a kid. Unfortunately noticeable declining numbers :(

No those are called Circling turtles!:D They are easy to find they never travel far from where they hatch. Most crop circles have now been documented to actually have been caused by circling turtles.:p

We use on have turtle races once a year. What a blast. Get about 30 of them, paint #'s on their shells with nail polish. Great time ! Never know what their gonna do. Tuck in their shells, take off, take off in the wrong direction. Really funny :)
If you used the nail polish it will last about 1 yr
