Best Cell Cam Provider 2025

Thank you guys so much for the input. Wishing I went with Cuddelink back when I got started. I've got tactacam now and the bill for running multiple cell cams is substantial, brilliant move on cuddelink with 1 primary home station.
The one home unit with one plan is the bonus for sure. As long as one cam can commuicate with another, the pics will make it back to the home unit for cell transfer. I have one cam that is 900 yds away from the nearest cam (in the rolling hills of oklahoma, mix of woods/pastures), and while the signal strength hovers around 10-20 (99 being the best), the pics it takes still make it to the home unit, which is about 1.5 miles away from that cam. I guess that i could probably string my 10 cams out 5+miles away from the home unit, and would still get the pics.
yeah, I've had to fuss with the system here and there, but at the end of the day, it's been a good investment.

CuddeLink cameras do not record video when CuddeLink is on. Anyone looking at buying this system should be aware of this. The data plan is cheap so this is a great system for multi-cameras if you do not care about video.

no, not in a 4 D camera - you only use alkaline, even with a solar panel - and the cost is not worth it either. rechargeables don't have enough power to run the camera in cool temps , yes tot run solar with camera empty or 4 alkaline batteries (rayovac is what we recommend) in the camera
OK...thanks John. I been reading a bit more on how this solar set-up works.......and it sure sounds good. I really am not very concerned with winter pics.....but that may be good too. The monthly cost is sure a no-brainer. I may add a few more shade tolerant solar panels this year to learn more and see how they perform over a winter/spring season. Added an L "home" unit and another L remote camera this year.

One further question tho.....does the "report" give the condition of the batteries in the solar pannel? (it takes a while for a thick skull like mine to absorb this much tech.)

the report will show EXT OK, or EXT LOW the unit is running on the solar with a (4D camera or home)- If it reads OK , or LOW then the camera is running on the internals, a camera can switch back and forth as it needs to, if the solar panel loses charge and then charges back up from sunlight .

Here is the biggest problem with thumbnail pics from my cuddeback cell cams. I do get some photos like this that make it near impossible to see what I got in front of the camera. With enough pics.....I will normally figure out what is coming through......but it is annoying at times to know what you are looking at. (I got several like this from this morning) Hoping the new features for better pics will help out??

with Gen 3 you can designate a camera to send in hi res but that wont help as much when you have high humidity/fog etc like in your example pic
