Any one Want to be my Neighbor.

What does the ag rent for? Poor writeup without stating how much ag land.

I do not know what the ag land rents for. As far as how much is ag land probably was left out so you have to contact realtor.

Beautiful place! But the taxes:eek:

Wow, I have 400 acres in MO with a house and a barn and the taxes are less than $900.

We have 120 acres with no useable structures other than an old barn thats small and only provides sun and rain relief.... our taxes are $1500 and thats with green acres and SFIA discounts.... ugh....
How many more years of increases in taxes can be tolerated is the question.... double ugh....

That sounds awfully high. Our 40 with nothing is $265 and we damn near stormed the courthouse when it went to that from $215 the previous year.

You're darn right SD..... it is high.

$996 for an 80 and $478 for the 40.... Tax statements right on my desk here.

Try being non-homested and paying $1400.00 in taxes for an 80 in mn.

That was going to be my first purchase after I win the lottery!o_O:rolleyes: If you got a a mil-seven to drop on a hunting farm, taxes shouldn't be the deciding factor on whether you purchase or not.

especially that area Wisc. Not many people in Antigo that have that good of a job for that $. That house looks well kept and the buildings are worth $300k. Nothing fancy but livable. That's roughly $2k/acre, for a good chunk of farm land. There is some very fertile soil in that area.
Edit: the link doesn't work for me anymore, maybe they sold it.....

Come to NY! My 700sf camp on .5 acre has taxes of $1500. I thought that was cheap. I vomit when my house taxes come.

Taxes on our 80 just jumped by 1/3rd... now going to be $102 per year until we get our house and then it will take another jump :(

I think you will survive. Land around here in MFL is more than land by you not in a program. But we have great schools and crap... err I mean good roads.

Wife said she wasn't moving....... I started packing!:D

I was thinking the same thing. It isn't often that you can buy property right next door. Now I just have to win lottery.;)

Heck, if I won a really big lottery like a high dollar Powerball, I'd own 3 or 4 places like that, and Bartylla wouldn't have to take another client the rest of his life.;)

I'm with ya on that one Wisc! I would have places scattered about to follow the rut as well as to hunt other critters and when all is said and done - I'm sitting on a beach somewhere. Might even see if I can get NoFo to go Mahi-mahi fishing!

Well it looks like I have new neighbors, the place sold. So which one of you guys bought it? :D

Sure as heck wasn't me.
