My friend leases property from a farmer. Trying to figure what is growing here. First guess is corn and millet. He doesn’t feel it is spaced out like corn. Any guesses? Near Buffalo ny. Wasn’t actively growing 3 weeks ago if that helps

Thanx for replies. The farmer leases from the landowner . And the landowner leases the land to my buddy . He doesn’t really have a connection to the farmer. On the original post I meant to say my buddy leases from a landowner

Picture this gets the ragweed for sure, and calls the other eastern gamagrass - but it's hard to get a good capture of the grass so that one could be wrong.

Some sort of sorghum or it’s just fallow is the grass looking plants in rows?
