Welcome to the Chicory Cult my young padawan. This is almost what I am doing to a T. Good to see I am thinking correctly on my own. Main difference for me is rye over wheat. Only reason being I have to register to buy wheat from my coop. I also didn’t add buckwheat, but I am broadcasting into a stand. It has matured enough that there will be buckwheat seed in there. Added chicory because of all of you guys on this site. Love it!

I have no idea on mine. I’ve never done a soil test in my life and have seldom used any lime or fertilizer.I'm curious if the phosphorus levels affect the palatability. Either of you guys know what your levels look like?
I plant first week of OctIt blows my mind that you guys further north re already planting fall plots. Here in Texas, we re probably 6-8 weeks away from planting.
