MidwayUSA strikes again.

Midway strikes agian!

I ordered 2000 bullets for hopefully a prairie dog hunt in the next year or two. The package has been sitting in St. Louis since the 19th it’s already past delivery date. I don’t know what it is Midway does with their shipping that causes these issues but I think it’s their “Smart Post” where from what I gather UPS picks up all their packages and hands them off to USPS at some point????
I really doubt its Midway's fault, once things get picked up and are in the hands of the shipper, its on them
over the past 2 yrs since all this virus crap started, shipping thru ALL shippers has been iffy at times,
there are many places that don;t get USPS mail, delivered but a once a week if that
I have had things from all shipped suck in one location , or SHOWING that it hasn't moved in days or even weeks, only to have show up the same day
seems a lot of workers today DON"T check things in a s there supposed to and just ship deliver at will

I have also had shipped packaged from same company, get to places faster than expected by days and had same day shipment NOT get to places fro weeks from exact same pick up and

All I can tell you is, I highly doubt its Midways fault, every shipping company is over worked lately and finding good help is hard to find,
and I can sure tell you, locations of where things come/get shipped thru are all run differently, by all shippers, be it Fed X, UPS USPS
doesn't matter,
best advice is follow and track your items and make calls if things are running late! the faster you report thinsg being off time, the faster you will get them,
longer you wait??
well?!

I work in S/R at a college and Fed Ex dropped off a REALLY expensive instrument in front of a random apartment building...where it sat for 3 weeks..
When I called to inquire they told me they had dropped it off "at the front door, on a Saturday" full well knowing my building does not have a front door and we don't work weekends...
Eventually it was resolved but it took several weeks and much frustration

I ordered a BOG Deathgrip to use as a shooting rest here in my home range. Placed the order on the evening of the 19th and it arrived on the 23rd.

Shipping updates after a week of nothing and delivery date here and gone has finally this morning showing delivery today. Well I hope it’s correct never used these bullets before but they where cheap $89 a 1000 so I ordered a couple thousand last time we went prairie dog hunting I brought 3000 rounds. Old boy I used for guide was ok but he does it a lot and the towns where pretty gun shy the first day the second day he put us on a small town but they where stupid it was a fantastic morning the second day.

Taking my shot with Midway. They actually had .280 ammo and it was only $45 a box. Only other place I've even heard of it was a guy I work with in Pittsburgh said he saw it at a random little gun store in NW PA for $58/box. I was going to have him buy me some of theirs. Ordered today. It's supposed to be here next Friday the 27th.

280 Winchester or 7mm-06 is just a necked down 30-06 case super easy to make if your a reloader. I’d buy 100 30-06 Lapua brass and just make them myself.
