Not for whitetails but still my favorite "meat pole" compared to any in wisconsin. Far more remote and scenic than anywhere i have been able to find up here.

Nothin fancy ... just a chain and hoist around a beam in the barn. The scale is fun as everyone puts $5 bucks in and closest to the hangin weight wins the pot.

I like the hanging weight pot idea. I just got a scale after last season. To this point we have never weighed a deer.

Now thats a meat pole, folks posting pictures of a lift on a beam in their garage is not a 'meat pole'. Thats everyday butchering deer when you gotta get it done, a 'meat pole' is something way different as you can see by UP's post.....
