I think this is a yote. Legs are short, the ears and hair pattern and color pattern around the eyes seem like a yote to me. His head looks a little more round but that could be the camera angle.

Tough to say for sure, but my 1st rule in trying to choose is "bushy tail = yote". So I'm going with yote on this one. With slightly more than 50% confidence.

I say a yote as well. Bushy tail equals yote. To me the face tells me yote as well, it would be a dead yote if it were on my land.

If you look at a yote vs wolf comparison chart, bushy tail is not on there. Nothing w/ regards to the tail is, iirc. Snout, head, ears, length, height.
