Which CWD Approach Better - WI Let It Happen or Kill Them To Save Them?

Same line of thinking goes in to respiratory disease in bighorns; kill all of the survivors so the disease won't.....spread...or herd immunity....or something.

I was told by an infamous sheepman that the Inuit learned to deal with disease in sheep long long ago; just let it do its thang and population will come back.

I dont think Innuit had domestic sheep based Movi?

A whole bunch of bighorn populations had to be re-introduced, they weren't coming back.

Well, I am not certain Hank was talking about domestics, which the Inuit are known for in Greenland. It could be that by the time bighorns crossed the bearing land bridge the inuit were aware of the population dynamics and disease. I don't know, but I trust the oral stories more than I trust published science.
