"Bait" and "feeders" are 2 different things. In Pa baiting is illegal but feeding is not in most places. You just can't hunt within some unspecified distance from artificially placed food. Ambiguous and stupid law.
My feeders are filled to the brim with air. I used to feed about 20,000 pounds of corn per year. When I did, my deer had nasty coats, fawns had diarrhea, and the ground was pounded to mud from deer traffic.
I'm not sure if I will ever run feeders again. I think running a chainsaw is better than running feeders. Just my opinion.
