What's for dinner?

This may not be beautiful, but it was a masterpiece of flavor. Aged red deer backsrap seared to perfection, with a side of chili garlic green beans. The brown sauce in the middle is a gravy made from butter, whole wheat flour, cubed bacon, and a couple tablespoons of coffee.

I suck at cooking and I’m super picky. Yalls stuff looks so amazing!

Smash burgers on the grill (Cast iron griddle on the Kamado joe). Two 1/4 pound Patties, two slices of cheese, sautéed onion, tomato and lettuce, on a toasted brioche bun.

Lol, no clue how he picked. Can't leave the other one all alone so we'll bring one of these guys home to keep him company (until it's time to make pork chops).Screenshot_20221230_201508_Gallery.jpg

Had a variety of beef (prime & tenderloin) left over from the holidays so made a batch of beef barley soup ... comfort food for a cold weekend.

It was brewed coffee from the pot. Not ground coffee beans. An ex girlfriend of mine used to put instant coffee powder in sauces.
