What does an elm look like?

As I was out picking yesterday, I spent a little bit of time taking note of where the zombie (un-dead) elms were. I thought it may be helpful to post a pic of what the bark and leaves of a living elm look like in case anyone else wants to start a mental inventory of where their future mushrooming spots are.

With the live ones, you might have dead ones close by too. Or might consider doing some hack-n-squirt to get more shrooms. :p

I was amazed to find any live ones. But you're right, and vice versa. If you find dead ones, odds are there are live ones nearby.
