Native Hunter 5 year old buck + Feb 6, 2019 #4 Are you saying that is on a crabapple and sure it isn't a plum? I thought black knot was only on Prunus species. I admit that I don't know everything about black knot but sure didn't know if could get on crabs.

Native Hunter 5 year old buck + Feb 9, 2019 #7 Cherries would make sense and belong to the Prunus genus. It's common for them to get black knot. Yes, deer will eat cherries. Last edited: Feb 9, 2019
