Rick Kupchella is / was a well-respected news anchor on a major network. THIS is precisely what I experienced in Minneapolis when Connie was in the hospital during COVID, and the George Floyd days....and BLM....when I feared for my life going to the hospital and back to my hotel each day...just blocks away. Not only that....but this was the time we pulled out of Afganistan and so many died or were left behind by the Biden "administration". SHAMEFULL MINNEAPOLIS and SHAMEFULL USA.....I will never forget....nor will many others whom now avoid this city. Rightfully so. Even the police would not enter the third district where DEMOCRATS burned down the police headquarters third precinct...just blocks from the Abbot NW hospital. I watched numerous shakedowns and avoided several similar incidents. THIS IS WHEN I had enough of my democratic voting "friends" .....who have chosen the wrong path on these issues. Sad. JUST WATCH THIS! It is the TRUTH.

Looks like NYC is heading in this direction. If I had a business there I’d be planning my exit. Same in MN. Why would you even try to have a business.

I'm no longer a resident of MN....and now a resident of OZ. I just recently "sold-down" my lake home and now own less than 1/5th the value of property in MN. Outstate MN is very nice and politically opposed to the metro area...which is falling like a rock. Crazy to see this city deteriorate like it is. Many people are moving away. Mass exodus of right thinking people. It's like Detroit happening now in the metro. Once was a nice city. The Catholic Church and the ELCA, and the Government programs, promoted bringing all the Somali's and Muslims to the city. The bedding heart suburbanites bought into it too. Now they are screwed....gonna take a real change to get back to what they once had. Sad....as it was a nice city. I do my best to stay away now.

My grandfather fled a couple years ago back. He would sit on his porch in Waite park and hear the Muslim call to prayer all day. He packed up 90 years of living in Minnesota and moved down to Kentucky.

I was always told the same from my family, I’m from Minnesota, that the Catholics and Lutherans ruined the state. It wasn’t out of good intentions either. There was financial reasons why they did what the did.

I'm currently working on a project in Minnesota. The amount of red tape is baffling. 8 months in and I've lost count of the number of permits I've purchased and we're still spinning our wheels trying to get started.

Based on that movie I would want $ money upfront. A Building that once sold for 123 million went for 6 recently. I though Detroit after watching it.

Yes...you can bash the city....but the outstate is solid RED. The thing is ....they brought in about 1 million Somalia folks and more Mungs, and lots of Democrats from other states (like Illinois) as we have better benefits for all the losers. Plus you add all the border jumpers....and all the crooked ballots.....and now they have elected these Muslims, Scammers, Drug Dealers and other crooks to run the city....and elect the likes of Omar and Ellingson. Plus the local politicians are morons....such as Klobacar and so many others.

Minnesota needs a major overhaul....and I am not certain it can happen without a civil war.....or other drastic action. Dunno. All I can do is to vote and shout it from the rooftops. Our summer home is about 2 hours from the metro.....and that is two hours too close sometimes.

People are flocking here....and many are escaping the metro. It is really broken.

I don't have any serious ties to MN or the metro area in general but I've lived here for 13 years and my life hasn't changed in that time. We have a few more neighbors and our gravel road is a little busier but that's about it.

I try to stay out of the 494 loop and have since before I moved here.

What burb are you located? Lots of variation in the metro. Staying outside the loop is certainly good.....but those folks are going to pay for this lunacy......and in a big way. The money has to come from somewhere....and inside the loop doesn't have squat. Going to hell in a hand basket.

I wouldn't call where I live to be the burbs, its just rural. Gravel road living no city in any direction for 10 miles, God's country. I'm on the south side, beginning of the coulee region.

Yep...the thing is the metro now has the votes. And with the redistricting the dem's did they now an control so much of MN politics. ....and they are quickly ruining this state. I believe the vote is also corrupt....as are so many of the corrupt programs that enriched a quite a few that were all in on these dirty schemes. So many things are so wrong in MN....and the corruption is rampid. Sad. May never regain this city unless major changes come fast. Sad thing is not many see these things.....and so many are living on the government teet now. You cannot fix stupid.

I hear you. You’re talking to a south Jersey Boy that grew up in Farm country and had to deal with the stigma of the Jersey NYC suburb my whole life.
