Uncatagorized.....things we see....

Stuffs not easy to store either. Not like 25 gallons of liquid. High pressure tanks, systems and transfer equipment.

Sounds like Solar Power or Wind Energy to me. Hard to store and transfer. grin. Systems get better when folks work to make it better....IME.

Anyone ever see a brown deer? lol Not deer colored brown, but brown brown. lmao

There was no way to get a picture of it, but the other day I saw a deer roadside that was so dark, at first I wasn't sure what it was. It was like chocolate lab brown. ???

What kinda road is that? Walking and cycling? Looks useful for crossing a wetland.

I thought the same thing. I should have taken a picture of the logo. I'll go back and do that. The town puts them out on the beach for easier walking I think. All the fatties with 6 kids and a beach cart need them. 🤣

Zoomed in on the original. "Matrax"

Probably expensive but the town tax payers don't know it.

⚡️After billions of dollars wasted, right now at 4 pm on September 27th, 2025:
ALL the wind turbines in New England are contributing only 1.44% of the power to our grid.
(For context, refuse is contributing 2.25% of the power to the grid.)
Or in other words - only 184 MW of the current system demand of 12,391 MW.
Once again, it is natural gas at 63% and nuclear at 26% keeping our lights on.

NJ governor shut down many of our power plants. They imploded a nuke plant last year. Full on ocean wind is the stupid dream. My electric bill has tripled because we can no longer generate enough power in state and have to buy from the grid. Trump supposedly shut all the ocean wind in NJ down.

Yet yesterday I was 60 miles offshore and see this.

IMG_6402.png

Crappy pic. That rig was 10 miles away based on my radar. See that 70 miles out in the ocean and say WTF? Turns out it’s the largest Chinese barge ever built carrying 4 cranes that can lift wind mill blades in the ocean.

What a farse. Trump can’t fix everything.
These people are chugging along figuring they only have 3 years to wait.

Sad part is NJ has a governor election in November and the people will vote for this shit. Then blame someone else for their electric bill.

I love my home state but something tells me I won’t die here.

Rant over…. But thanks to everyone nationwide paying taxes so we can push the green agenda.

P.S. state law says we can’t boat with in 10 miles of these wind mills. It’s going to kill the commercial fishing fleet. And they’ll blame someone else for the high cost of seafood.

How's that work? Since they only have authority out to 3?

No actually it’s a NOAA rule that’s being argued. NOAA is federal.

NOAA was recommending no boat speeds over 10 Knots from the beach to 100 miles out last year. Thankfully that got shot down. All to save the right wales which don’t frequent our waters much during fishing season.

A first for me today at our local Home Depot. I paid for a new tank and LP gas at the checkout.....and asked if someone would unlock the container they use to store them.....which I had seen on the way in. The cashier says...."look at your receipt....you have a code number....just punch in the code and the machine will dispense your cylinder of gas".

I'll be a SOB......if this is not the clear chit. Now you could buy this 24/7 at your local gas station or any other vendor. So many things like this are getting so automated. Another job is lost to tech....but I can see how this is better / cheaper in the long run and inventory can also be managed digitally. Kool.

Those are great! Until that time I got one and the door didn’t open. Then it took about 5 employees to do the work of one. And then the kiosk was closed for the next month…

Yea Menards had a pay and grab your cylinder for awhile as well. Prices were better than anywhere else, super convenient. They did away with that system.... its a pain in the ass now you have to go inside have a checker out person ring it up and then take your ticket to customer service. Then wait for someone to come and grab the cylinder for you.

We've had fully automated propane dispensers for a few years in Norway. It's an absolute blessing in a country where stores are closed Sundays and holidays. Twice I've gone out on a sunny Sunday afternoon to light the grill only to find the tank empty. In 20 minutes I'm back home with a full tank.

So many neat gadgets coming to market with improved tech. I bought a drill sized leaf blower the other day that is really impressive. $49 on amazon. Amazing power in a small package. Today I saw a small torch on Facebook....and figured it was perfect as a fire starter or even to do Sous Vide....which has become my fav way to make a steak. $23. on Amazon. Amazon is my friend.

You might as well get the refillable 1 pound container and the valve, as I imagine the lp will go pretty fast with that bad boy
