Uncatagorized.....things we see....

All good advice Foggy, but I don't think you're needing any donations currently! :)

And that pudgy kid is my wife! She might just drive up to that new place of yours to kick some a$$ for that comment.
Catscratch ... you the man ... that evoked a keyboard monsoon or, as known locally, "spittle-city"! I'm still laughing.

As to anyone else, if'n it were me, I'd send flowers, candy and a $100 gift certificate for the closest 4-star restaurant. 😉

Lol! All proceeds will go to keeping Mr Catscratch alive and with a honey-do list short enough to go hunting a couple of times this fall. If momma ain't happy... ain't nobody happy!

I keep expecting Foggy to log in with a witty comeback but I haven't seen him over here for a while.

Probably enroute to deliver his apology gift! LOL

I did that once in regards to my sister-in-law. My mom, brother and I were working in the barn and I was not expecting anyone. My moms says, "Who is that walking across the yard?" I said, " I am not sure its some guy." My brother responds with "That would be Jen." His wife. ....... whoops.

This reminds of the time I asked some meat head why he had a roast turkey tattooed on his shoulder. He got upset and tried to explain it's a skull and crossbones. Ok bruh...

Gubment….

Well here's how we've used a couple of Suncast sheds at my cabin.

First up my BIL wanted/needed a new blind. Asked me for help building and I told him to check yard sheds for cost and ease of construction. He picked a 7x7 shed so he can have his daughter sit with him. Here's the blind.

Next is my new outhouse. First we buried a 200 gallon tank, then formed up and poured a concrete base. Then put the shed on the base and finished it up.

Doing a little basement cleaning. Are you guys keeping or tossing your CD collections? Tossing seems like the right answer. When I want to hear a song I just play it on YouTube.

Been tossing them. Some sad times throwing them out.

I got a couple of bins full of ver tapes and CD's of hunting shows. Should I toss em.....or will anyone watch these old shows? We are packing to move...and will not have room for such things. I was given allot of them when these shows wanted me to advertise on them.....in the 90's. Lots of Jim Zumbo and Best of the West etc. I'm even on a few of em. May save those.

VHS tapes i have tossed. DVD and blu ray i have opted to keep for now. I'd for sure save the ones you're in. Record albums seem to be worth a few dollars occasionally, so we've kept my parents' stash of those. CDs aren't worth anything as far as I know.

Does anyone have a VCR anymore?

I have one on in my living room, sitting on top of a big old CRT Tv. I don't think either of them has been plugged in for years, but It's valuable as a table, so it stays.
I do have a working VCR in my reloading room and it gets used now and again.

Cummins Inc. Just Declared WAR on the EV Industry!
While Tesla and the rest of the auto world are chasing batteries, Cummins just flipped the script.
Their CEO announced a revolutionary hydrogen-powered engine —and insiders say it could shock the entire auto industry.
Refuels in MINUTES (not hours)
Diesel-like strength, zero emissions
No lithium, no battery rot, no charging pain
This isn't just an engine. It's a direct challenge to the "all-electric future" everyone assumed was inevitable.
For trucking, heavy-duty transport, and machinery, this is a game changer. Imagine clean power, unmatched reliability, and a network that actually works.
Cummins just sent one clear message: the future won't belong to ONE technology. Hydrogen is here-and it's ready to compete.
The road ahead just changed forever.

^. So much for Government Mandates. Pffffft. Get out of the way and let the free market lead the way. The only reason for mandates was to line politicians pockets. STOP this nonsense. Really grinds my gears the way Big Government thinks they know more than the free markets. Competition makes the world go round.

I remember when GM said they were close to a hydrogen powered vehicle (s).....but the government wanted electric and basically forced GM to spend it's resources on Battery Powered cars. Stoopid. May Bernie Sanders, Bill Clinton, Bitch Clinton, Joe Biden, Barrack Obama and even George Bush rot in hell for providing such poor leadership in this area.....not to mention line their pockets with your cash. Not to mention much of congress. All are self serving and have done little to add to the nations progress...but get in the way.

Been a little while since I looked into it... but last I knew the amount of electricity needed to make hydrogen made these engines not a viable option. Have they found a way to make the fuel that doesn't require a gob of energy from the grid (ie fossil fuels)?

Dunno....it's a technology that I never read up on....and I never tried to get a handle on it. All I know is what I read in the papers. (Will Rogers?)

Stuffs not easy to store either. Not like 25 gallons of liquid. High pressure tanks, systems and transfer equipment.
