A nut bag pokes an AK through a chain link fence. He hangs a couple of bags on the fence (possibly containing ceramic tile) to make himself about 10 times more obvious. He has an extensive arrest record and people that know him say he is cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs .
Yep, real trained assassin there, lol. An AK? An AK with a scope. Got it. Through a fence. Ok. No concealment. Sure. Never gets within 300 yards. Sounds like he was repelled by an agent with what…..a….. Pistol? Gets photographed leaving, including the plates on the car and makes no effort to change vehicles or plates. Drives out onto an interstate bristling with license plate readers and is promptly caught. This guy had no plan, no skills, no training. This is who the shadowy government cabal with unlimited resources picked to assassinate a former U.S. president. Makes total sense now that I think about it. (If you are about to say he was a stooge… Just stop. It doesn’t make sense.)
The next problem with all this: the democrats are behind this? Why? How does this benefit them? Create a martyr? Create sympathy for DJT? Create an issue Donald Trump can fund raise on? It’s not in their interest. They want stability. In these last few months before the election they want a booming stock market, low gas prices and low prices. They would do anything for that right now. But instead they set this up? Killing a high level government official creates COMPLETE instability. It crashes the stock market. It reduces our standing in the world. It reduces our influence in the world. It plays into the hands of what DJT’s campaign is built on! No way the dems want that.
Now this is the second time there has been an attempt. This makes the current administration look super weak. THAT is not in their interest either. How long has it been since there was an attempt on a President, a former President or a candidate? Now there are TWO? Makes them look terrible. One of the worst things that could happen is another attempt on DJT and they know it.
I will say this- in Tehran the IRGC is kicking themselves. They WOULD like to assassinate DJT. They have to be thinking a trained operative might have been able to make this work. JIC you don’t know why, it would be because we whacked a known terrorist/IRGC general during the Trump administration on their soil. They have been trying to set up a killing of involved Trump cabinet officials ever since. I would not be one bit surprised if those a-holes took a shot at Trump before the election. Then what? You guys going to blame the dems? Have your revolution? Iran, Russia and North Korea would sure love you for that.
Stop and think what you are saying. This is the best country in the world. Americans don’t fight Americans. We lead the goddamn world economically and every way it matters. There have been missteps and there will be more, but show me a country that is better. If you place a bet against the U.S., you are placing a losing bet. That’s what I think.
Much of your logic doesn't follow. Your argument seems predicated on the assumption it was the Democratic party who is ultimately responsible for the attempts. It also assumes that Trump's assassination would throw the country into chaos. Both of those scenarios are unlikely.
I would like to point out, first of all, that several attempts have been made against US presidents and presidential candidates, with at least a few of them successful. Did any of those incidents plunge the country into an unrecoverable decline? Obviously not. Would assassinating Trump, or Trump's sudden death by any other means, plunge the country into an unrecoverable decline? Obviously not. The people with the money and power to pull off something like this are well insulated from a possible temporary instability in the US, and if they stand to lose a lot from a Trump presidency, they might be desperate enough to see assassination as the better alternative regardless.
As far as the Democratic party being responsible, that's unlikely. They hate him, but not enough to kill him. Trump in the Whitehouse doesn't really hurt the Democrats. It really only hurts Harris and Walz, who the party doesn't really care about anyway. Look how the party dropped Hillary Clinton when she lost to Trump. And do you recall how they railroaded one of their own when they actively tried to suppress Sanders? The most likely culprits are foreign governments and possibly the CIA/FBI. Foreign agents have been pouring into our country across the Mexican border for the last 3 years or so. Countries like China and Iran have the most to gain by eliminating Trump. Hell, even the Ukrainians have reasons to be worried about a Trump presidency. As unlikely as it is for the CIA and FBI to be involved, they have a lot to lose (again) if Trump gets back into the Whitehouse.
As far as powerful organizations using apparent buffoons as triggermen, this is the least surprising aspect of the entire debacle. In fact, I would say it's par for the course. Which assassination in US history was carried out by a well trained agent? Any group or individual interested in carrying out such a high profile assassination wants to be insulated from the actual triggerman. That means throwing whatever unstable lunatic or fanatic you can find against your target. That also contributes to the fact that most high profile assassination attempts are unsuccessful. How many times did the US and other parties try to kill Fidel Castro? How many attempt were made against Hitler, Pope Jean Paul II, Yasser Arafat, etc.
Do I think there is a conspiracy? No, not yet. But the two would-be assassins have been featured in online videos, one for BlackRock, and one for the Ukrainian military. That means these two individuals were "on the radar", so to speak. They were not that difficult to track down, should someone be so inclined. Does that mean there is a conspiracy? No. But it certainly makes it
start to look like a conspiracy, which is exactly what I said.
