I have a spot at our hunting club in WV that is in the middle of a fairly new clearcut. I've been hunting out of a ground blind for a couple of years because there aren't any mature enough trees to get in. There are a few evergreens but only 4-6 inch diameter. I thought a tripod stand I could tuck into a clump of the evergreens might work out.
Anyone have any experience with them? It'll be an archery stand. A lot I've looked at only have a rail that goes around to put your feet on. I don't mind shooting seated but I'd prefer to have a platform of some sort. Are there any with adjustable legs? I doubt I'll find a perfectly level spot to put it on. Tips for anchoring them?
thanks
