England's Orchard is in KY. They offer a number of grafted persimmons, but it's awfully late for ordering. No idea if they still have anything in stock.I’m looking for a northern source nursery that has a selection of grafted, bareroot persimmons in stock for this spring. Chestnut Hill has the kind of selection I’m looking for, but trees from Florida could come out of dormancy before getting to me. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks, I talked with them a few days ago. They do have some in stock, but they no longer ship trees. I really didn’t want to drive that far, but might reconsider if I can’t come up with an alternative.England's Orchard is in KY. Thanks. Yes, I already have that one. I was mainly wanting to add a few that I don't already have. For sure I would like a Rosseyanka and maybe a Nikita's Gift. I might even consider a couple more.Full Draw still in stock https://bluehillwildlifenursery.com/product/full-draw-self-fruitful-persimmons-tree/

Mine was one of the small ones planted in the spring of 2022, and hasn't fruited yet. It has really grown well the last 2 years and might even start fruiting this year.Curious how you like the full draw. I planted 2 this year.
I do 2 parts my clay soil 1 part potting soil. I put 2 shot glasses of pelletized lime per 5 gallon of clay soil.I use a bark base potting mix for tree seedlings. Avoid Miracle Grow potting mixes if possible.
I know some that would be rinsing those shot glasses out and downing them between trees.I do 2 parts my clay soil 1 part potting soil. I put 2 shot glasses of pelletized lime per 5 gallon of clay soil.
Potting soil drys out quick.
Camp is sandy soil. I do 2 parts sandy soil, 1 part clay soil from home, 1 part potting soil. I font 1.5 shot glasses of pelletized lime per 5 gallon of aansy soil.
I add 2 shot glasses osmocote per 5 gallons and 1 21gram agriform tablet. 20-10-5.
After summers heat is done I plant them in their homes. I have done a tree or 2 4th of July and has made it own it's own at camp. Planted mid December too and made it. Makes tree planting easy.
