This is the first picture of a deer in a week on the 85 acre far, with an average of one camera every 2 acres.
Conversely, I am getting 10-20 pictures per day of coyotes, fox, dog-packs and bobcats.
Time to do some serious predator control.

You have over 40 cameras on 85 acres? If I was a deer I wouldn't want to live there either.

On average, yes, but....
- Eight are more for surveillance--gates, drives, barn, other access
- Twelve are over coon/possum traps (Spypoints that trigger twice per day to see if something is in the trap)

So more realistically, one game camera per four to five acres.
....and it is true, I likely drink too much (Diet) Pepsi.

Mange is already thinning your coyote population for you, foxes will be next if you have many of them. Does look like trapping would help you out some regardless.

lol I started thinking about my camera per acre ratio.
It's sort of skewed, I have 4 cameras within a 25 yard space.
