Always. I just had some hunters leave and head back home. They harvested one cow and spent a few days tracking a wounded bull with no luck. The elk were pretty sparse during their hunt, and of course a couple days after they leave we get flooded with elk.

Finally got a better video of this goofy thing. How old do you think this deer is? He's got a thick body and neck for sure. Nose looks a little rounded to me.

That was my guess too as for the deer. For around here he's a big bodied 2.5 year old.

Two pictures to share:

The first is a reminder how good today's inexpensive cell cameras are. This was taken with a SpyPoint Flex-S. This is the quality I used to get when downloading from the SD cards.

This second picture was a great way to end the evening...a few minutes later a buck is standing in the same place, but in the darkness.

He's definitely old enough. I hadn't thought about "The Stand" for a long time....
