This is a short and interesting read.

Those numbers have been engineered for years. I believe they shifted goal posts under GW and then again under Obama, if I recall correctly.

The great society has been a smashing success. They have deactivated and dehumanized half of the country.

Seems like the central banks figured out they could print a bunch of fake money, give it to themselves, and use it to buy all the real metals.

Market manipulation at it's finest. So many things going on that are not legal but laws are pretty much meaningless anymore. SAD
So then - is eliminating/gutting/de-funding financial regulatory agencies that oversee market fraud, manipulation, deception - a good thing?? Financial rules have already been relaxed / regulatory agencies have been de-funded or eliminated under trump. Seems to me we ought to want plenty of eyes on the financial system - - - not far fewer. I'd rather see some of my tax money protecting what we ALL have saved and invested. I don't like feeling the shockwaves from what de-regulating financial markets did under Bush/Cheyney. Financial markets melt-down/mortgage fraud crisis that almost collapsed our entire financial system. SH## like that will put the matches to our retirement savings - no matter who you are, or what party you belong to. Unless you're an insider "biggy" - a CEO of a major financial institution - we ALL lose when fraud, lies, and cheating happen.

Not attacking you, SD - just posting some important points for all here. We ALL have $$$$$$$ at stake in a far less-policed system now.

Has anyone ever lent their securities back to the financial institution? are there any risks?

The stock market isn’t where the fraud is located. It’s in war spending. There are people out there that put bread on their solid gold 100’ long banquet table only so long as there are Christian’s and Muslims to kill in places the handlers of our politicians want something. And for what? So the transsexual devil worshiping peodophile murderers can own all the land, resources, and means of production.

If every member of congress stole $5M a year thru stock manipulation, that’s less than $2.2 billion dollars. War, while there technically is no war declared anywhere, we spend over $2 Trillion, with a T on the war dept and have lost every war we’ve been in, the past 100 years.

Gold and silver are on a tear!

I’ve been buying cracker barrel stock lately. Every time I go by they are packed. And it is at very attractive price.

Just curious; How many of you guys are snagging more metals?

My employer matches up to 3.5% but you have to put 6% in to get the 3.5%, I elected it all to be Roth, I am putting 9% into that beginning January 1st, so with their 3.5% I'm at 12.5% into a schwab brokerage account so I do my own trades, I focus on dividends stocks on that account and reinvest that automatically. I research quarterly the best dividend payers and setup a buy for the lowest I think I'll see in that quarter and target 100 shares or so. Then I put an additional 3% in a robinhood Roth, that one I invest in non dividend stocks, trying to beat 8% return, over & over again, sometimes it takes a few months but I've consistently grown that one.

I'm playing with peanut dollars compared to some of the heavy hitters around here but it's all post tax which is why I decided this route. So in the end i'm at 15.5% total starting in 2026, I feel good about it, I won't be a millionaire barring a miracle but I'll make it ok.

Does your employer offer self directed Roth 401k account? That would be better tax advantaged than a regular brokerage account.
